In conjunction with eight other local community groups, Tropical Isles will be leading a marvellous Carnival around de Beauvoir on Friday, June 3rd,marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations. It will start and end outside Rose Lipman Centre, where everyone is invited to bring a picnic and join in the party atmosphere. Over the Easter Holidays, Tropical Isles pledged to dedicate 4 hours for 4 days across the holidays to provide creative and proactive activities for children between 5 and 11 within the local borough of Hackney and provide Healthy tasty meals. We also made a commitment to provide free meals to those who were entitled to free school dinners to ensure that even during the holidays they were able to have a nutritious meal provided and supported by Hackney Council.
